Our world is impacted by our environment more than we realize! We look for opportunities to design spaces that create community.
One way we do this is with the front porch. Whether it’s waving to a neighbor across the street or meeting a neighbor walking a dog, spending time on your front porch is a catalyst for neighbors to get to know one another.
Connecting Neighbors.
We believe the world works better when we live in community, so look for ways to connect neighbors together.
One of the ways we do this is by giving house-warming gifts to our tenants with signed cards from each neighbor along with their house number attached.
Things like this are catalysts to build relationships.
Creating Local Jobs.
As much as we can, we try to work with local contractors and source local products in our homes.
Studies have shown that 48% of money spent in small businesses goes back to local communities versus only about 14% of money from national companies. When your tax dollars stay local, they help build libraries, fund schools, and support your local community.
